Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of the television. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from finding out that she enjoyed acting. She then moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. Through the early part of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some outstanding TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. She was A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received several nominations in the character's honor for her role, including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show ended up being cancelled.
