Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show will return to CBS on 5 August for its 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, where she was moderator and host. She was a journalist before she became a host. Her passion was to write. It actually brought the show an Emmy. The fact that she hosted an amazing entertainment talk show has earned her another Emmy. Between 2002 and the year 2010, Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. She anchors The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour newscast during the early hours of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the war in Iraq as well as other important news stories on The Early Show. In the wake of 9/11 Chen Moonves was able to track down the father and lead hijacker for an exciting and exclusive interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked for the CBS's New York City station WCBS as a reporter anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to becoming a part of CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. While completing her last semester at University, she served as an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the producer of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). Her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant on ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains among the journalists she admires. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel in the Columbia du-Pont-nominated premiertime show, Anatomy of a Riot, which examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
